Equipment, machinery and vehicle finance

Finance the asset against itself and keep your working capital where it belongs — in the business. Plant, machinery, trucks, trailers, vehicles and commercial fit-outs, for operators who need the gear working rather than sitting on a quote.

No obligation. No impact on your credit. Your details stay private.

You're all set!

Thanks — we've got your request and will call you shortly.

What we finance

  • Excavators, loaders and earthmoving plant
  • Trucks, trailers, utes and commercial vehicles
  • Manufacturing and workshop machinery
  • Hospitality and retail fit-outs and equipment
  • Medical, dental and practice equipment
  • Both new and used assets, dealer or private sale

What we'll ask you for

  • What you're buying, and the invoice or quote if you have one
  • Whether it's a dealer purchase or a private sale
  • How long you've been trading and roughly what the business turns over
  • Whether you have other equipment or property that could support the facility

Because the asset itself is the security, equipment finance is often the most straightforward facility to arrange — and the one where turnaround matters most, since the gear is usually needed now.

Common questions

Can I finance a used or private-sale asset?

Yes. Age and condition affect what's available, and private sales need a little more verification than a dealer purchase, but both are regularly funded.

Do I need to put down a deposit?

Not always. Deposit requirements depend on the asset, its age and the strength of the business. Some facilities fund the full purchase price plus on-road costs.

How is this different from just using my overdraft?

An overdraft is working capital you may need for something else. Financing the asset against itself preserves that headroom, and typically spreads the cost over the asset's useful life instead of taking it out of this month's cash flow.

Can you finance a fit-out?

Yes — commercial fit-outs are regularly funded, though the structure differs from a single-asset purchase because much of a fit-out isn't easily removable. We'll walk you through what's realistic.
